Betgenius has been selected by the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, to power its Pearl River Resort sportsbook with its pricing, data and risk solutions. The first tribal gaming operator to launch sports betting outside of Nevada, Betgenius is to integrate its sportsbook trading console into IGT ’s PlayShot sports betting platform, which is live at two of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw. Mississippi‘s only tribal casino property, Pearl River Resort (PRR), is going to come up with the state’s first ever sports betting app. The app will work only when the users are physically present at the resort. This limitation is a forced result of Mississippi gaming regulations, which do not allow gambling outside the host property.
